Adoption Hearing

Hello

It was the end of April, beginning of May that we finally brought our son home.  We've grown as a family together and he's just such a lovely fella - I smile whenever I think of him.

The next step for us is to formally adopt him (he's "placed" with us at present).  The court papers are in and we've had a preliminary hearing.  The final hearing should be in December or January.  Wouldn't that be just the best Christmas present ever!

Diagnosed with POF just before turning 32.  Have used acupuncture and TCM.  I am taking various supplements including multi vitamin, calcium, zinc, flaxseed oil etc.  Following osteopenia diagnosis, started HRT on 10 March 05 - reluctantly.  I have a fab g/f & we have a lovely dog (lurcher) & a mischievous cat (tabby).  We have one son who keeps us on our toes.

Wow, that would be one great Christmas present!!! Keep us posted on the adoption so we can all send big congratulations your way!  It's so wonderful to hear about all these great adoption stories.  Gives me chills :)  :wub:

Diagnosed POF at age 36 -- actually, I diagnosed myself thanks to Kathy's book!!  Married with two kids (one adopted from Russia).  Current hrt regimen Vivelle Dot 1 mg and Prometrium 100 mg. per day. History of hashimotos (thyroid) and some other autoimmune stuff.

That would be the most wonderful xmas gift ever, Ronnie!  I'm sure you are a wonderful parent -- I can just tell by the caring way you reply in your posts.

I had a friend last year pick her daughter up in china on Xmas day.

Ronnie,
What beautiful timing. For the rest of his life when he asks what you want for Christmas you can always respond, "you are our favorite present!". He'll roll his eyes and slouch away as a teen, but it will probably be a great reminder for your whole family.
