Hi Ladies,
Does anyone know a doctor who is knowledgeable of POF in the Long Island area? My RE has been treating me but at times it can be a little uncomfortable when dealing with the other doctors in the practice. I am looking for someone to treat and monitor my POF without constantly making plans for IS or IVF. Thanks

Diagnosed POF at age 36 -- actually, I diagnosed myself thanks to Kathy's book!! Married with two kids (one adopted from Russia). Current hrt regimen Vivelle Dot 1 mg and Prometrium 100 mg. per day. History of hashimotos (thyroid) and some other autoimmune stuff.

Yup look at list, but here are a couple - michelle warren in the city (upper east) and nanette santoro in the bronx (albert einstein) Good luck!
*40 years young
*peri symptoms since early 20's, actually, night sweats in teens...
dx @ 32 (FINALLY!)
*mom, g-ma & aunt POF
*1 "miracle" bio child
*developed practically every meno symptom except palpitations
*hrt since 2001 - vivelle .1, prometrium 100mg & testosterone cream
*osteopenia in hip - spine ok, clotting disorder & asthma
*This site & all the wonderful ladies on it saved my life!!!!!
