An Update (01/18/2012) - For the first time since the turn of the year I'm here to post a long overdue, public update! In order to push through the remaining features and ongoing development work I have drafted in additional developers to really push the new EM through to completion. This has been an expensive process but it'll be worthwhile in the end! Many of you have written to me personally to ask how the new resource is coming along, and I want to begin by extending an apology to those of you who've been eagerly awaiting the launch. I also want to sincerely thank the women who've contacted me to express words of support. We appreciate it greatly and it's kept us going throughout the year. The message I have for you today is stay patient, we're not far off now.
We've come across obstacles and setbacks but piece by piece we've been working hard behind the scenes throughout this year to complete the brand new site. Progress has been made: the overhauled design is complete and in testing, and we're still making arrangements for the new community orientated side of the website, which will include forums, scheduled chats and diaries as well as Q&As with medical professionals.
The existing site was restored last year to give you access to a lot of helpful information in the meantime. I'm absolutely proud, however, that we will launch a fantastic, expansive and improved new site (after all the waiting!) later in 2012 and it'll be home to tons of helpful, impartial information; a support community; reader diaries; expert advice; and treatment reviews all intended to provide comprehensive support and answers to your questions! I apologize to have overshot the original launch date but things continue to move along here at EM, and I'm dedicated to creating a site providing love, help and support through a potent combination of information, education and interaction!
